CHEOPS ST#6 Meeting - organized by the Gothard Astrophysical Observatory and Multidisciplinary Research Center of Eötvös Loránd University and the Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences - will take place in Hotel Pannonia, Sopron, West Hungary. Sopron is very close to the Wien/Schwechat International Airport (the hotel is 68 km away), and you are strongly recommended to arrive to Schwechat airport. Regular and frequent ÖBB trains travel to Sopron (toward the final station of Deutschkreutz) from Vienna, and you can also travel by rental cars and upon request, we will try to organize vans to the hotel.

The hotel is located in the downtown, just opposite the mediaeval and renaissance parts of the town, inside the ruined fortress walls. The conference room will be inside the hotel. After the meeting, you can travel back to Vienna. Another option is to travel to Budapest after the meeting, especially if you wish to spend a day there, and depart from the Budapest airport.
We have a block reservation for 30 rooms in the hotel, in option by 9 November at a very favorable prize for approximatelly 50 euros daily, including accomodation, two menu lunch dinners, the coffe breaks and taxes.
According to her request, please confirm your participation by 9 November in an email to the sales manager, written to sales@pannoniahotel.com. You will be informed there about all important aspects, and you can of course ask for a longer stay if you want.

Complementary infos
The Hungarian currency is Forint (Ft), the exchange rate is about 300:1 to Euros. Euro is widely accepted, but you will get the change in Forint in this case. Visa and Mastercards are accepted at all major and most minor stores, and of course you can withdraw Forint from ATMs.
